Conference registration

The conference registration is open until October 10, 2017.


Early bird registration fee:      380 EUR  (payment by September 30, 2017)

Regular registration fee:      420 EUR  (payment by October 10, 2017)

Each accompanying person
(only attending the conference dinner):      90 EUR  (payment exclusively on-site at the reception desk!)

Payments by bank transfer are preferred. Post-deadline payment has to be done in cash on-site at the reception desk. Credit cards and checks cannot be accepted.


The fee includes

  • a copy of the conference special issue of the journal Measurement Science and Technology (MST),
  • beverages and lunch during the conference,
  • a get-together and a conference dinner.

The incoming payments are supplied to the Helmholtz-Fonds e. V.
The Helmholtz-Fonds e.V. promotes scientific seminars in accordance with its statutory duties.
In this respect, it supports the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt in undertaking PTB seminars to communicate new scientific findings between the fields of business and science.


The Helmholtz-Fonds e. V. is recognised by the Finanzamt Braunschweig (Tax Office Braunschweig) as a non-profit corporation for the statutory promotion of science and is exempt from K├Ârperschaftssteuer (Corporate Tax) in accordance with Section 5, Subsection 1, No. 9 KStG (Corporate Tax Act) and from Gewerbesteuer (Occupation Tax) in accordance with Section 3, No. 6, GewStG (Occupation Tax Act), because it exclusively and directly serves non-profit purposes with tax privileges in the sense of Sections 51 ff of the Abgabenordnung (Fiscal Code). The undertaking of scientific seminars with the PTB directly serves the statutory purposes of the Helmholtz-Fonds e. V. Umsatzsteuer (Sales Tax) is not to be raised in accordance with Section 4, No. 22 UstG (Sales Tax Act). Therefore, no tax quota can be declared in the confirmation document. There is not a VAT number.
